Netconductor: You might try my strategy sometime when a stock you want to hold is so volatile. I pick my exit point, but only sell half my shares. That way, I have my initial investment - and hopefully some profit and I can hold the rest for a while to see what happens without the stress of all my money being on the table.

I sold half my bout shares at 50 but am holding the rest hoping for a buy-out or anything positive that may run the shares up. Anything is possible in this market! Just a thought.
