A study by International Business Strategies shows the communications chip market will grow from $28.3 billion in revenue in 1998 to $90.4 billion in 2005.


Who is presently making this $28 billion worth of chips and why should we expect Intel to garner a major position in this market? I would appreciate any comments from the thread. This is no small development, IMO.
