JDN, The reason Buffett doesn't invest in tech, is because he doesn't understand technology companies and how they make money. He has said this many times in his own books and during interviews. Even his best buddy, Bill Gates, has tried to get him to invest in technology to no avail. On a recent TV interview, with Bill G. and Warren Buffett, Warren said Bill finally convinced him to buy 100 shares of Microsoft, just in case - and not for the Hathaway fund, just his private portfolio.
