I selected Dos prompt from windows start and did it from there . I made the disk as you suggested with fdisk on it ...I'll try that next. I also wonder why it takes so long to boot up windows. I don't have the virus program running or anything , and it's a celeron 400 on a Houston 741 mb,128sdram?
I believe the technician told me to do this deletion then format the old drive and then create a new partition..would that be all on the old drive or is the partition eventually to be on the new drive. What exactly am I trying to accomplish. Could the drive be not locked because windows was not completely transferred by the tech?
TIA
