I understand your frustration. The basic principals supporting my arguments are indeed "out there" but I'm trying to nurse this along. It takes time. I understand your position. You want the facts. The problem is that if you want to understand more in depth what Novell, NDS and DigitalMe is all about, we all must have a better, grounded understanding for what's driving the Internet. Is it energy from people who seek to judge and tear down or is it energy from people who seek to establish a positive dialogue, dispite their differences. Does the energy required to take value from the world add up more than the energy created when we individually and collectively work to add value to the world. I'm taking the latter position. As far as "mirroring what we are good at" the point to consider first is how we ACT. You can be good at a lot of things, but your ACTIONS will determine how that "good" gets shared with others in the world. The Internet is a viral transforming medium which allows anyone/anywhere/anytime to take inert information (mass) and "transform" it - ie. adding value - into something more meaningful. The result to the left side of the = sign raised the level of MEANING - ie. ENERGY. THIS is my lasar focus. Technology which enhances and supports this mathematical equation makes bandwidth "smart". E = mc (squared) Meaning = information X transformations Get a copy of Siler's book, Think Like A Genius. We are working with him for he's involved in this "new era" collection of companies and invdivuals who are all collectively mapping and supporting ways for all of us to embrace this equation massively throughout the world. I have a very, very BIG vision behind where this all is going. This forum is not the place for me to lay out facts and details behind what we are doing. Companies and individuals that sign NDAs and work with us are invited to the table. We hope to be working very closely with with Novell on these ideas for I think there is potentially MASSIVE positive implications for it's future. I come to SI to merely set the stage. This will be ONE unbelievable show. Evangelism, positive energy and the viral nature of the net will ensure more and more people become aware of the incredible power behind this approach. Before this is over, a little piece of dust - US - on the hair at the end of the dog's tail will be wagging the dog. For WE all will make bandwidth "smart". Peace. GO!!
