I sold most of my gold a long time ago because new technology was being developed to make production cheaper. That is another reason gold keeps dropping. In the old(er) days, mines use to cut back production when they got down to the breakeven point. Now the breakeven point is a lower than the current price, so gold still has more room to slide.
