Walter, you may be right that there are offers. Genome Securities' website statement doesn't necessarily mean they have drawn a line in the sand and committed to taking the best bid by next Tuesday's close. It seems to me that they have publicly stated they will entertain offers through August, and they need to do so. It may well be that an offer came on day one, or that multiple discussions are taking place. Nevertheless, they need to continue to be receptive to proposals for the entire duration they advertised.
