do you know what the earliest bharatvarsh writings are and where the originals are available.

Lots of things in this world seem to have similarities to our Ramayana and Mahabharata that many a times I wonder if there in fact was a highly evolved civilization that got destroyed either by nature or man made disaster (like the planet of tha apes).

I particularly find fascinating the flying of Hanuman and the arrow (equivalent to Nuclear) that they talk about in Mahabharata. (I forget the exact details but it was drawn by one of the Kaurav supporters after they lost the war. Arjun also drew a similar arrow. A maharishi stopped them both because of the threat of total destruction to society.)

Fascinating stuff in that Mahabharata.
