Looks like we both saw that quote at the same time. Wouldn't you like to just ask the old geezer to point to just ONE instance that the FED has ever done ANYTHING about "sharp jumps in stock prices". That is, other than do about a gazillion coupon passes and never let the sun set without pumping more money in the bubble machine.
