Well I used to hear people talk about juniper and sycamore in the same breath... these were engrs that work in that business and which were the hottest companies. You know I'm in software right? So I don't have any detailed knowledge, I'm just talking hype-factor. I thought jnpr and sycamore were related in some ways myself but sycamore seems to be in the Boston area (even though they recruit out here). Just thought I'd mention it as an alternative to jnpr at these high levels. Of course the cisco acquisition changes the competitive landscape for both companies but for now its a momentum thing anyway.
