Scotty, you've come to the right person...i was the one posting that the semis are the last sector to crack in a rising rate environment, due to their deep cyclicality. i shorted some of the equipment makers and have thus far successfully survived an incredible barrage of upgrades by the WS stock pimp community. in the case of INTC i was a bit early...however, today MER upgraded the stock AGAIN and it smells of pump and dump to me...so it may well be time to consider that one. there are however sectors that look more inviting for shorts right now, such as the brokers and the credit card companies, all of which i see running into trouble soon....

regards,

hb
