Of course Samsung will begin mass production of drdram. All dram vendors will begin mass production of drdram eventually. The issue is whether there will be a smooth transition to it starting with Coppermine/Camino in September or if there will be a huge problem over lack of drdrams during the last part of this year with very high prices and very bad publicity for Rambus as well as renewed support for sdram to fill the gap.

Obviously Samsung will move to mass production, but it isn't here and now. They are late. Shouldn't Intel get something better for their $100M?
