Cisco invading Nortel's turf!! It seems that cisco is no longer content to rule IP anymore, & has launched a direct assault on switchmakers like Nortel & Alcatel. The 2 companies it acquired yesterday had little or no sales, & technology that's certainly not as promising as wi-lan's. (one hasnt even shipped a single product!!)yet cisco paid over $7billion US for them. If they realize wi-lan's potential, imagine how much they'd be willing to pay to get a piece of this one!
