Shouldn't it have been August 17th? It says, "All shareholders of record at the close of business on Aug. 17, 1999 will receive one additional share for each share owned, the new shares to be payable in the form of a 100-percent stock dividend." If someone paid the full price of 68 bucks a share today and didn't receive the stock dividend, I would think they would be mighty PO'ed.
