< Several veteran Wall Street traders said that one sign of illegal shorting occurs when the daily trading volume in a stock far exceeds the number of shares available to the public, known as the float > Seems if day traders were trading the heck out of a stock and with double counting on NASDAQ that it would be certainly possible for the shares traded to exceed float. Or am I wrong? Dave
