Galtech DD (OTC-BB) GTSM
Shares:
O/S: 7.5M
Float: 1.2M (estimated)
I picked this stock up on a technical scan... these scans have been very good
this week. The stock shot up today and I bought at .45

This looked like a very interesting speculative play...
Essentially, here is GTSM's business (technical stuff):

Galtech is working on developing a reliable and repeatable process for growing
large area single crystal bulk compound semiconductor material. The focus of
this effort is the creation of a viable and inexpensive production capability
for Cadmium Telluride (CdTe) and Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CdZnTe). Future
development in of other II-VI compounds such as zinc sulfide, zinc telluride,
zinc selenide, cadmium sulfide, magnesium sulfide, magnesium selenide and
magnesium telluride. The II-VI (two-six) compounds have applications in the
field of "photo electronics". Devices such as photo cathodes (night vision
instruments), solar cells, and radiation detectors (used for such applications
as medical imaging equipment) are particularly well suited for the II-VI
compounds. The traditional market for these devices has traditionally been
military applications. As the market for these devices expands and these
devices are adapted for consumer use the market for these compound
semiconductor materials will also expand.

Millions of dollars have been spent by government, universities, and
private companies in an effort to develop a reliable process to produce
high quality single crystal CdTe. While some success has been achieved by
others this material is very difficult to grow in single crystal form. As
a result good material is limited and expensive and production yields are
low. If Galtech's development effort is successful this situation should
change significantly.

GTSM will be a reporting company shortly... see July 14 news.
See news of 25 August: biz.yahoo.com

Finally see this chart... stock has been under accumulation this month:
