Robert and all, Dell to sell SANS, up to 16 terabytes. Wonder where they'll get the drives from? Part of the IBM contract? Message 11084473 I have a general question for the thread: are SANs easy to install? Or is that one of those "It depends on the SAN" questions? When I worked on a small (8 seat) VAX system years ago, it was almost plug and play, once the DEC guy left the building. Just had him come in once a year or so to check it out, and that was it. Are today's SANs comparable?
