A friend of mind went to the AGM, It was interesting to hear what the he had to say. This is the short version -CanBaikal the Pres has been working in Russia for 20 years -CanBaikal in the only foreign company to have their own oil licenses. see web site.www.canbaikal.com -They have proven reserves of 100 million barrels in Russia, Proven reserves can be bought for 5cents a barrel -They feel Banks and bigger oil companies are investing Back into Russia. -They will need 100 million to develop this field -This is a two year plan -They hope to Pump 15 thousand barrels a day in two years - The oil fields in the area they are compares with the middle east in supplies. -Getting paid and getting money out is not a problem -They have no Russian joint ventures partners which means no partners to screw them. Why did they need Raptor? -CanBaikal needs Raptors cash flow so they can go raise more money and get onto the London exchange. -Raptor needed a more of a international play to bring attention to what they are doing. Well I don't know what to think of it all, -Russia ? -Rolled my stock back Maybe this will give us liquidity at higher prices to get out? I'm with hayseed, I'm going to miss calling my Dog Raptor JC
