GB, I just read a recent release relative to the St Maria mining and found the following there:

Discovered from a gold outcropping on the site, the mine was drilled by FMC Corp. and Energy Fuels Corp. The detailed
development drilling defined a large vein of 90% silica, which washes out to nearly 99% pure silica (possible fiber optic
grade). Silica is used in fiber optic cable, computer chip manufacturing

By gosh, that is smelly for a gold miner to be digging for quartz, there are so many sources of white sand (pure quartz), no one is mining quartz for fiber optics and chips.

But then they get us to the following:

and the main component in automobile tires,

????????????????????????? What is that? Since when is quartz or any derivative thereof the main component of tires? Even if they decided to replace carbon black with aerosil, you surely do not need high purity quartz to get tire grade aeorsil. But of course, very little if any aerosil goes into tires, maybe some silicones.

This indicates to me a "little tendency" of composing releases for the sake of release (and shall I dare say it, corporate hype??) rather than for factual informative purposes. I would say GB you should be very careful with this outfit.

Good luck.
