Did he say that the clear path to 3G was not CDMA, or just the current upgrade? I think the point here is that LU, and Nortel are not the leaders in EDGE. If T wanted to go with EDGE why would they switch vendors to LU and NT who are much more versed in CDMA. If I am correct EDGE is 2.5 G anyway. I think the quote saying "clear path to 3G" is what is in question.
