This thread is a good idea. Don't forget the best of them all, The Bonfire of The Vanities. It's about ten years old but still timely. based on John Merriweather, bond-trading master of the universe at the time the book was written, lately of Long Term Capital Management infamy. The book is an epic black comedy about Wall Street and the nouveau riche of the eighties. If you like it try Tom Wolfe's latest novel, A Man in Full. It's fabulous.
