Well said, I agree with you enire statement.. and well written, a pleasure to read! :) I'm not claiming anyone is "smarter" in Europe, or anywhere else because of this... your post simply bolsters my contention that Europeans know lots about trade, currencies, tarrifs, wages [and conditions] in other countries as you point out: simply because of circumstance, and refutes post I answered contending that Europeans had no clue [an fact were brainwashed] why prices were higher there, etc.etc. Sorry if I implied that their knowledge about such things compared to America was due to intelligence... they know these things because it's a part of life. I answered a poster that was projecting his experience on a situation he was not familiar with and through his paradigm came out an incorrect conclusion.
