Yeah I saw it. I like that $149 price tag too. I think the transition to fast ethernet will benefit COMS in spite of the NIC price cuts as companies upgrade their huge installed base of 10M NIC's along with hubs/switches. Should benefit COMS the way the shift from 486 to pentium benefited INTC.

Did you see Bill Fleckenstein on Squawk Box this morning? He said he has covered his short positions in networking. That's a real good sign.

An issue that occurred to me after the ASND/CSCC merger is that COMS/USRX will be the only network outfit with a substantial presence in both the business and consumer markets. I would think that this could provide COMS/USRX with some earnings stability that the market usually rewards with a higher multiple. I think that USRX's initiative to make cable modems a retail product rather than something you lease from the cable company is a good strategy.
