A TPIL measure to avoiding SNMM problems? I notice from the notice for the upcoming AGM that Wayne Blackburn is being nominated for election as a director of TPIL. Sounds like a pretty useful (and reassuring) resource to have on the BOD - here's the info provided on him. "Mr. Blackburn is Director of Security Services and a Vice President of the Investigations and Forensic Accounting Group with Deloitte & Touche Inc. Prior to October, 1997, Wayne Blackburn was Senior Investigator in Frauds, Money Laundering and White Collar Crime with Lindquist Avery Macdonald Baskerville Inc., a forensic investigations firm; prior to October, 1995, he was the Officer-in-Charge of the Economic Crime Branch for the Province of Ontario; and prior to May, 1995, he was the Officer-in-Charge of the Proceeds of Crime Unit of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Force."
