I do take it at face value!

But, if I were also taking Larry Ellison's comments at face value, I would say CalPERS chief exec. does not want to waste his time with the current regime. In this case a "sudden scheduling conflict" could just as well be a desirable tee time.

I know this is useless speculation, but it seems a little strange.
