Actually, you are right (with respect to GNET and PA's wired world)...eyeballs merely get advertising revenue and I know Russ has been saying all along that they want to rely less and less on advertising revenue and more on revenues from other areas. Does he plan to do this by not aggressively seeking ad revenues or is he planning on building and increasing all the other areas' (Hypermart, Haggle Online, etc) revenues. Finally, I must be honest...if Dayton had DSL or Cable Internet access, I'd be there! ISP connectivity is great, but I'd be willing to spend $50/month to get 100K/sec access... and I can relate to how you use both your connections differently...(high speed for downloading large amounts of data and/or if time is of essence)... What would you guys/gals think about getting involved in some sort of movies/music download on demand type business transaction...? It is an eventuality...and if PA can get his stuff together...providing the consumer the ability (speed is of the essence here) to pick any movie and watch it whenever they want...will be a big hit...(kind of like Pay-for-view but with unlimited content). What would it take to set something like this up...(consumers, high-speed, cable connectivity to the Internet, web servers with the ability to give consumers what they want--this would require appropriate software to implement) anything else??? To be honest...I think PA has to have something like this..it is a must...Is GNET going to step up to the plate and deliver??? I hope so..cause this would be a great way to bring in the dough... Am I off here... v/r Steve
