That's a great story! The best reason yet to stamp out divorce. Now we need historical studies that prove that unhappy marriages (or liaisons) produce good poets. What to really know about Shelley's parents? Or T.S. Eliot's? How about Homer's parents? If it turns out that bad marriages also produce good poetry (there's far more bad than good anyway) we would have to step carefully rather than stomp out divorce because marriages go from bad to verse.
