Thanks for your links. I am going there already. An interesting thing happening with Telia. I worked long time on projects implementation for telcos and telcos nowadays have several sub/divisions pushing different technologies and services. For intance Telia has Telia light which pushes VoIP technologies, using VocalTech technology. There is another division /cannot recall the name right now, dealing with broadband and services ot the enterprise jointly with CISCO.

I think Win LAN is surely a promising technology. My idea is that WLL did not take off as expected because it was brought to market mainly by big telecom vendors. Since these big telecom vendors such as Ericsson, Siemens, Alcatel and Nortel, have also a big interest in mobile communications, WLL was only a side show.

For a firm whose main focus is WLL, and mobile data being the word du jour, WLL and mobile data has a great future.

I will follow Win LAN from now on.
