You may be right. I actually do have a problem with giving people too much credit. I still think that I am right. Remember, one way of analyzing the exit polls was that Clinton's ability to make a dent in the Evangelical vote put him over the top. These are the people I mainly have in mind as ruing voting for him, along with a substantial percentage of Perot voters. Again, most Perot voters normally vote Republican, even the independents, in Presidential races, so Perot mainly hurt Bush....As far as Quayle goes, Reagan was branded as a lightweight and an idiot too, and managed to shake it off. I think that he has an earnestness and sincerity that are very appealing, depending upon how mature he has become. But we shall see, I don't think he has much of a chance unless Bush falters....
