DJ SatCon Tech Completes $8M Preferred Stock Placement>SATC

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (Dow Jones)--SatCon Technology Corp. (SATC) completed an $8 million private placement of Series A convertible redeemable preferred shares.

The energy management producer and silicon wafer maker said Friday in a press release it will use proceeds to enhance manufacturing and to acquire operations.

Nasdaq-listed shares of SatCon closed Thursday at 7 7/16.
