Wayne: Have you run across in research on earnings growth persistence? Lot's of stocks are bets that earnings growth trends will persist for 10+ years. We all know that forecasts are often wrong - especially when they involve the future ;-)) but I'd like to see research on just how many stocks have succeeded at maintaining 20+% growth in earnings and revenue over 10+ year periods to objectively establish base rate odds. I've searched but not found anything as yet.

Thanks for the Yardeni post. I've been following his stuff since early 80's. He's sometimes spectacularly wrong [bullish report nailed the top in the $ market] but not often. And always interesting.
