This is a sad day indeed.
When I first came to SI the company was growing and cared about the posters (that made you multi-millionaires in a few short years). Yes, you had a great idea and a great site, but without us you don't exist!!!
SI used to be much easier to navigate than the other web-sites, had a higher quality of posters, no vulgarity, and listened to what the customers wanted. Now you don't care what we think.
Over time, SI began to be mentioned in articles, on TV, and has now become a common name in most business sections of newspapers.
As with most companies that become successful, you have forgotten who got you there and why you got there. You have butchered the website and now censored one of the most proficient traders you had here.
A lot of threads on your site are snake-pits of touts, shills and stock promotions to the naive investor. The Anthonys, Bill Wexlars, MamaBears, Mr. Pinks, Flodyies, Auric Goldfingers, Janice Shells, etc. are more than ever needed here to keep this place an even playing field.
I don't recall too many "longs" ever posting massive insider selling, previous SEC convictions of insiders, Accounting firms resigning, fraudulent goings-on, etc. etc.
I usually don't see any of the big stock houses down grading stocks until there has been a price decline, of major proportions, that one of the "shorts" on SI has been predicting for days or weeks.
You have now silenced one of the best and most popular voices that was on SI. In doing so you have chased away many others (just as popular) that assisted them in outing the frauds. You have also just helped the touts and shills to continue their lies and deceit to unsuspecting investors.
The Anthony's have saved hundreds of your customers from losing massive amounts of money....if they were wise enough to heed their warnings. It is the touts and shills on the thread that don't want these warnings to be posted. Anyone else would want to hear of possible dangers in losing their hard earned money. Well, now you have just helped some of them achieve their goal. Way to go SI.
