<<<Unlike you, I am not married so being the object of sexual attraction does have some significance,>>>

Bizarre, Edwarda! I know you don't REALLY think that being the object of sexual attraction has no significance to a married woman (or man, either)! I mean, the implication is that being sexually attractive to one's spouse is of no importance; and also that if one isn't f@cking others, it follows that one doesn't want to be the object of sexual attraction to others. Even if one were to be above such promiscuous desires for their own sake, one can hardly help but notice that one's spouse is turned on by the obvious interest of other men in what is his alone.

Especially if one's husband is sexually attractive to other women, I think a married woman (who cares whether he strays) would be ill advised to rest on her former laurels. (But I agree, the allure of teenagers is not of concern. It's the allure of intelligent novelty one needs to be smart about, if, as I said, one cares.)

What I just wrote is un-PC. I'm mentioning that in case someone thinks I don't know it.
