James, has nothing to do with Greenspan, other than he is a great turning point, the market set the bond rates well ahead of the Fed, notice that the Fed lowered rates right near the bottom last year and now is raising rates right near the top.

I don't think the bottom in August was a capitulation bottom, otherwise you would have had a better broad market recovery off of it. We went negative on the oscillator yesterday so the summo turned slightly down, bulls need to step up to the plate here. I think the bulls are trying to fight the fed and higher rates and it hasn't worked in past markets, but may work in the new era -g-.

Sept - oct. time frame & y2k. Look at NTOP, RBAK charts, this is the kind of speculation you find around tops, not in the beginning of new bull upleg.
