<how much is the install going to set you back?>

Actually, I'm doing a trade-out with the electrician who will be installing the system. The previous owner at my place had 4 large water tanks on the property. I gave the electrician 3 of those tanks to re-sell and set-up elsewhere because he had some people who wanted to set-up an alternate water system.

<and the other 6 generators you bought to make a capitalist buck on, have they arrived also?>

I didn't get 6, my neighbors did. I got 4 - but, the lady who's been teaching me to can and garden has dibs on one of mine.

<are they already sold?>

No, not yet. Besides, I'm not the one actually selling the generators. The fellow who owns an electrical contracting business will eventually be selling and installing them. He makes most of his money installing systems, rather than mark-up on the generators. He didn't have the funds to build up an inventory to have additional generators on hand come this fall/winter. That's how I got involved with "investing" in generators. My neighbors and I helped build up his inventory. In turn we split the profit and he gives us some free electrical work.

He's been working on a very large solar installation the past few months, and hasn't had many requests for purchase/installation for smaller generator systems during summer months. The arrangement I made with him was that if he didn't sell them by November 1, I could sell them directly. Otherwise, if he sells them, we split the profit 50/50 at prevailing retail rate. If he overcharges for the generators, he loses the installation business, which is his bread & butter.

<what is the going price for each ON HAND propane generator bringing now?>

I don't know. I paid for my propane in March. The ones I got for him to eventually sell, are gas.
