He's not what I think of when I say Socialist. I have followed his career with interest since he was in Power Corp. To me he's more of a cavalier opportunist. Notice how quickly he exited Ontario Hydro and the UN. He was living just down the road a piece from me but haven't heard much recently. His son, who runs the day to day business is certainly a hard headed Capitalist, or he was when I met him.

Interesting that a guy with a Social conscience is so easily confused with the Socialists.
