E.Digital names board member San Diego-based e.Digital Corp. has named Allen Cocumelli to its board of directors. Cocumelli is the chief operating officer and general counsel of SimpleNet, the San Diego Internet business acquired recently by Yahoo! Inc. E.Digital, formerly known as Norris Communications, has been developing portable digital devices that can link to personal computers and the Internet.
