siesmic.. in the traditional sense shows reflective layers that show how diferent rocks are structured.. it has not been used much in the minning sector due to its in ability to see objects that slope at a sharp angle, and it has difficulty differentiating rock types and seeing faults. i have developed a method of imageing called synthetic aperture siesmic that gets around those problems. i am currently testing the method in minning .. faults show up real weel as do "altered" zones due to mineralization along faults. the resulting images are more like photos of the sub surface. i would be just interested to see the plumbing system.. tim
