<I expect even Jerry has learned to close mouth when it is full of cr*p and will let his managers run things, instead of mangling them hisself.>

Unfortunately, Jerry has learned neither. During the Q2 losses warning, Jerry "Is Intel God? Is Santa Clara Valhalla?" Sanders just kept spewing more of the same old anti-Intel crap that he's used to spewing. And just recently, Atiq Raza stepped down from his post, and the rumor was that he and Jerry had clashed one too many times.

Now with that guy as CEO, COO, and CTO, there is reason to believe that things will not be different this time, even with the "seventh-generation" Athlon. It's definitely not going to be a cakewalk to volumes, which means there is a high probability of another execution screw-up.

As Process Boy said before, Intel is very lucky to have a guy like Jerry Sanders running AMD.
