Just some thoughts on Pokemon...

This craze is the result of simple supply/demand. The original supplier of the cards could not keep up with the demand of the cards a few months back and this created a large secondary market for the "basic pokemon" cards. Stores would open all the "booster packs" that they received and sell them as individual cards to the kids at inflated prices. The supplier is now flooding the market and the secondary market is beginning to collapse. Kids can not sell the cars to stores now and I believe that once they realize that a "Charizard" card is no longer worth $30 they will stop buying the cards.
I sold GRIN at $6 and change before I left for holidays. There is more craziness over Pokemon by adults in the stock market than by the kids on the school grounds...be careful on these ones!!!
