Hi Folks! Just got back from a great week w/ nature! Now have 101 things to do, but I did find out some info re. the recent Marum AGM (Annual General Meeting). I myself did not attend, but nonetheless, I got a solid report from it, and will post here! [some editing done by me] -=-=-=-=-=- -=-=-=-=-=- The AGM went smoothly with 24% of the shares being voted, 100% for management and about 99.8% for the resolution to allow management to issues shares for exploration projects as required. President Rick Boulay announced that the company is debt free, has substantial prepaid exploration expenditures and has enough cash to conduct exploration. The President described the Chinchaga project in general terms but could not discuss the nature of the samples that have been collected over the past two weeks. It was mentioned that a project update would be issued in the near future. In response to questions, Boulay confirmed that Marum has entered into discussions with other companies, including major companies, about the metals project and that these discussions had advanced beyond the preliminary stage in one case. Lastly, it was also confirmed that Marum is conducting several reconnaissance programs outside of Alberta but had not, as yet, acquired any land. -=-=-=-=-=- -=-=-=-=-=- There ye be mateys! - - - Hope everyone's summer is going well! Wilse, re. the price action of late... hmmm... Could it be (as Russett mentioned in his helpful comments I believe), of or pertaining to the recent Chinchaga fieldwork and thus results anticipation? ? -- We'll have to wait along w/ the rest, I guess!
Best to all, -j :> PS, here's a copy of that last, highly encouraging, MMU et al. news release: mmu.simplenet.com (i.e., found at the MMU/ITH Chinchaga Project website) |
