I've been long on AT&T for years...still holding stuff I bought many years ago...the funny thing is that all the Baby Bells I got from back in 1984 plus the LUCENT I received...well put all those together and they've beaten the heck out of what my value of AT&T is. This old lady just isn't in favor with all the yuppies buying and selling on the Street these days. I guess I'll just hold on to it until I croak and then leave the shares to my children so their tax base will be what the shares will be worth at that time. Saves trying to figure out what my tax base would be if I sold them now.
