But there was no jokes or mention about the subsequent tragedies, in Atlanta or LA.

Don't make a big deal of it. I cut/pasted jokes from the laughter thread, which seemed funny. I didn't make them up. I didn't see any on the other incidents, though if I had, and I'd thought them funny, I might have sent them to certain individuals. I wouldn't post them publicly; I don't offend people on purpose.

I do think that the assumption game, and the basing of conclusions on assumptions, can get easily out of hand.
