Hi Kemble: Food for thought: IBD August 19, 1999 "Investor optimism soared last month to its highest level since February, according to a poll conducted by PaineWebber. Those with less than five years investment experience were particularly upbeat, telling pollsters they expect their investments to return 21% in the next 12 months and 23% annually on average for the next 10 years. In contrast, those who have played the market for more than 20 years only expected a 14.7% 12 month return and a 12.9% 10 year average annual return." Interesting...so we newbies (at least I am...having been in the active investing/buying group for less than five years)...are maybe not so realistic? HMMMMMM. Of course in individual cases....
