Phillip, I do not know much about tax law, but I know something about venture capital. They never make an investment based on the tax consequences (recognizing that tax laws change with politics). Furthermore, when a VC makes an investment in a company they look first at the management team and their prior history. This is more than 50% of the investment decision. I think that it thus unlikely that normal VC would make a financial commitment to TSIG.

There might be other "kind" of money in Florida (if you know what I mean), but I am not sure I would like to be on the receiving end of that kind.
