What I really prefer is honest, thorough and complete sharing of information to/for the investors. I don't like either hype or bash and I certainly don't like a company not willing to share information. Of the 3 situations, the ones I've lost the most on are the companies that refuse to share information. The ones you never get a complete answer from, the ones who issue press releases that kind of inform you, but mostly skirt issues with vague statements. No, I prefer honest truthful information, good or bad. I own a few issues that all is not peaches and cream, but they own up to it and also say what they are doing to solve the problem. Those type companies I tend to stick with considerably further than the ones that instruct their transfer agents not to give out info on the share count, etc.
