Bearcub, I always distinguish between What a person says and How they say it. I'm more fundamentally oriented on discussion threads on the Internet, like SI, so the "what" means more to me than the "how." Knowing is the easy part. Saying it out loud is the hard part. Ken never learned how to say it. Reminds me of Socrates....

The "how" means a lot in life, especially in concrete personal relationships.

PS I never really understood where all the personal attacks were coming from, in particular, against Cheryl. It seemed petty to me. Cheryl does provide great information through her posts. Since I focus primarily on "what" is being said or the content, I think she is good. Why delve deeper? Nobody is perfect. Everyone has their faults. And it's almost impossible for 2 people to see eye to eye on every issue. I tend to back off when I see that a person has more good attributes than bad.
