A mix of 1 Athlon 650 (at cost of about $640) and 9 K62-400s (at a cost of around $40) yields an ASP of about $100. The K6-2's on pricewatch are often redirected tray chips from OEMs that may have paid as much or more for those chips as their current retail price.

It's amazing how those outliers can move the average.
