Thanks for the time you spent (again) in your response. Looks like I'm back to the bookstore. I appreciate the "shopping list"

Question: What do you like, specifically, about candlesticks? I hear that they (supposedly) convey a fuller picture. And what benefit do you see in Point and figure? (if you don't mind my asking)

Finally, I have heard of Stocksmart pro, is it a software/mo. service?
Is it for charting @ end of day to find prospects?
Same question for "dorsey wright".

I'll check out MDA.

Lastly, w/volatility being important in CC'g . . . do you like a stock like CMGI? This is one I was aware of since 1/99 (individual investor dec issue, actually). But always thought it rose too far to chase. Translation: didn't pull trigger & watched it skyrocket into stratosphere. Seems to have underlying value/legitimacy compared to some of the "nets". This (incubator of net stocks/give them start up $) idea is kind of like a built in mutual fund theme. And its wide swings seem to lend itself to selling ITM calls and buying puts before it parachutes safely back to earth during its cycles.

Good trading to you
