Thanks for your interest.

Updated balance sheets are released with the quarterly statements. They are unaudited. Our year end is October 31 and that is when an audit starts.

We never violated the rules of the Alberta Stock Exchange. Wi-LAN had unintentionally distributed shares without proper exemptions. This inadvertently violated the rules of the ALberta Securities Commission; the violation was disclosed by Wi-LAN to the ASC voluntarily and a settlement was reached. The terms of the settlement were disclosed in the prospectus of the IPO last year.

The relationship with Wireless Inc. and Bill Gibson is currently a healthy business relationship. At the time of filing our initial prospectus, Wireless was merging with Multipoint Networks. Wi-LAN and Wireless were renegotiating various issues including the exclusive license of Wi-LAN's technologies to a company that was soon to become a competitor. This renegotiating was tough as is expected under such circumstances. We had to make a generic disclosure in the prospectus that allowed us to file and not have to file additional disclosures as matters evolve. The matter never reached courts and we were always on speaking terms. It was resolved within meetings of the Wi-LAN board of directors.

Our VP of Sales is a veteran business man that has ran companies with hundreds of millions of dollars in sales and has a vast experience in international sales and management. It is true that much of this experience came in the resource sector. However, sales and management are portable skills.

Proxim is an interesting company particularly since their technology was chosen by the HomeRF SWAP CA as the standard for low speed home connectivity. They have recently announced plans to develop 5GHz HiperLAN I products by the middle of 2000. Our OFDM technology, already in products, is the foundation of the HiperLAN II and the IEEE802.11a standards. Also, we are looking forward to the potential of developing a higher speed HomeRF standard for multimedia based on our technology. Traditionally, I never believed thought Proxim was a competitor of Wi-LAN's. With their move to standards based higher speed products, it is possible we will meet each other more in the market place. However, given our patent position on W-OFDM, we view that we are different kinds of companies after all.

I hope this answers the questions posed.
